ChartGPT stores product data such as notes, prompts, responses, images, and audio records locally on your Windows machine. Local data is not automatically synced between devices.

Back up your local ChartGPT data if it is important to your workflow.

When you run an AI analysis, ChartGPT sends the selected context to the provider and model you choose. Depending on the workflow, that context can include:

  • your prompt
  • chart bars or indicator data
  • OHLCV, VWAP, volume profile, or calendar data
  • screenshots or drawing-tool context
  • note or audio-derived text

Your selected provider processes that request under its own API terms, privacy policy, retention policy, and billing rules.

Provider API keys are saved locally in the Windows user profile where ChartGPT is running. You can remove a saved key from Options > AI Providers.

Clearing a provider key from ChartGPT does not cancel the provider account or delete provider-side usage history.

Trading Neural stores the account, licensing, support, and payment metadata needed to operate ChartGPT. Stripe handles card processing; Trading Neural does not store your full card details.

If you contact support, only share logs, screenshots, or files that you are comfortable sending to Trading Neural. Remove secrets, API keys, account numbers, and private trading information before sharing support material.
